Harris Safety-Silv 45 Brazing Kit, 45KPOP
Comes with 1/16" Wire Diameter and 1.75 oz. Flux Container
Safety-Silv 45: Excellent general purpose nontoxic brazing alloy. Good ductility and capillary flow. Color is silver to light yellow matches polished brass.
General purpose filler used for steel and copper alloys. Melting range used for wide clearances.
Chemical Composition: 45% Ag (Silver), 30% Cu (Copper), 25% Zn (Zinc)
Specifications: AWS A5.8, BAg-5
Solidus: 1225 degrees F, 663 degrees C
Liquidus: 1370 degrees F, 743 degrees C
Stay-Silv White Brazing Flux:
Specifications: Meets Federal Spec. (OF499,Type B AWS A5.31), Class FB3-A, AMS 3410
Active Temp.: 1050-1600 degrees F (565-870 degrees C)
Typical Application: All-purpose low temperature brazing flux used to braze most ferrous and non-ferrous metal (exceptions are aluminum bronze, titanium, magnesium, and aluminum).
