Extremely rare 6 photos of "secret"(at that time) advances in aviation construction. Two photos documenting Mr. F. Handley Page's invention of "slotted wing " (flaps) construction. Image sizes 7 1/4" wide x 5 1/4" tall and 6" wide x 4 1/8" tall. Three interior photos of  the Fairey-Napier monoplane, Britain's 1929 "Hush-Hush" plane which will attempt a 6,000 mile non-stop flight from Capetown, Africa to Northern Scotland. (two similar photos image size 9 1/2" wide x 7 1/2" tall, one photo image size 6" wide x 4 1/4" tall). Photo portrait of the pilots Squadron Leader Jones Williams and Flt. Lt.
